New York-based Proenza Schouler, led by founders Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez, has debuted its first signature lifestyle sneaker this winter. Previewed during its spring 2025 runway show and dubbed the Track sneaker, the shoe features a genuine rubber sole and a leather or suede upper adorned with the label’s logo.
Proenza previously collaborated with Vans on a trio of leather slip-on sneakers. The label also introduced sneakers through its White Label line including a lug-soled canvas design with a casual, utility-inspired aesthetic.
The Track sneaker signals a new direction, embracing a sleeker, more minimalist silhouette akin to retro football-inspired styles like Balmain‘s Swan sneaker, Miu Miu’s Plume and Dries Van Noten‘s suede sneaker.
