They’re only basic catalog shots, but at least they provide an idea of what to expect for Puma and Rihanna’s “Fenty by Rihanna” first drop on September 6th. As shown on the runway (watch below) earlier this year, offerings include sweatshirts featuring exaggerated lace up up details, plus crop tops with extra long sleeves a la Vetements. Highlights include the two Kimono inspired jackets, one waist length and the other long, but the way too cute item that will probably evaporate upon arrival is the durag featuring Asian lettering.
One item we’re not seeing in this first drop is the hooded fleece fur Drake was spotted in earlier this summer, which tells us there will be at least a second drop featuring colder weather pieces later in the season.
Quick aside: We are hearing that Rihanna will show her spring 2017 collection during Paris Fashion Week.
Look for these items to drop exclusively at Bergdorf Goodman’s and Six02’s New York and Los Angeles locations on September 6th. They will be sold at Bloomingdales and Puma retail locations and Puma.com on September 7th.
