Kim Kardashian was robbed last night in Paris and as seemingly is the destiny of this family, the event was super dramatic, akin to an old school Hollywood heist movie. According to multiple sources, at about 3:00 AM five men posing as police officers entered The Hotel Pourtalès where she was staying and forced the concierge to open her door. Upon entering, two of the men bound and gagged Kardashian with handcuffs and tape and then put her in the bathtub. (Can you imagine?? Though now we want to know what she was wearing!)
According to Daily Mail, Kardashian “begged them to spare her life, telling them she had babies at home.” The thieves are said to have stolen a jewelry box, a ring and two cell phones and escaped on bicycle. Many are speculating the theft is the work of a ring of Serbian jewel thieves known as the Pink Panthers.
Kardashian was in Paris with her sisters Kourtney Kardashian and Kendall Jenner, and jetted home not long after the incident. Where was her bodyguard, Pascal Duvier? He was on detail with her sisters at a nightclub when the break in occurred.
Kardashian was spotted on Snapchat before being robbed, wearing multiple pieces of jewelry, including a giant diamond ring (shown above from her Instagram), an engagement ring given to her by West that is a favorite piece. It’s not clear what jewelry was stolen.
At the time of the robbery, West was in the midst of performing in Queens. When he heard the news he immediately stopped the show and let people know there was a family emergency. West met Kardashian when she arrived in New York.
