Alicia Keys has released an uplifting video for her single “Blended Family (What You Do For Love),” featuring ASAP Rocky. The single is from her just-released album, titled Here.
In a video that includes her husband Kasseem “Swizz Beatz” Dean, sons Egypt and Genesis and stepsons Prince Nasir and Kasseem Dean Jr., among others the song, which is dedicated to her stepsons, is themed around the concept of families uniting. Check for ASAP Rocky’s mother and sister, who are also among the families included in the video.
Commenting on the video, Keys stated, “My new song is inspired by my family’s personal journey to cultivate deeper understanding, compassion, support, and love. Something to me that I hope we all together in this world remember right now.” She added, “To me, the word family has no singular definition and the modern family is made up of all kinds of beautiful people of different walks of life willing to put love first.”
