Toronto native The Weeknd aka Abel Tesfayehas has released a short filmed, titled “Mania,” which includes new music from his upcoming album, titled Starboy, set for a November 25th release.
Directed by Grant Singer, the 12-minute film is visually and stylistically dark, with all of the action taking place at night. The Weeknd is living an upscale life that includes expensive sports cars, exclusive clubs and beautiful women, and yet it’s a cold world often lacking love or human connection.
Also, the woman who is featured in the video, Anais Mali, looks a LOT like The Weeknd’s ex, Bella Hadid. Coincidence? We think not.
