Before Beyoncé was a member of Destiny’s Child, she was part of Girls Tyme, an all girl-group that’s featured in the closing seconds of her “Flawless” video. Now video has emerged showing additional footage of Girls Tyme practicing and performing. Shot in 1992 when Beyoncé was just ten years old, the video reveal her confidence and charismatic personality were already well formed.
The clip is being advertised in connection with the offering of a collection of 12 Girl’s Tyme videos as offered by Ted Owen & Company, a U.K. based auction house.
According to the company’s site, “The collection of tapes document the earliest music video appearance of Girls Tyme showcasing and starring a then ten-year-old Beyoncé Knowles.” The 12 tapes range in length from five to 20 minutes long and include show rehearsals and performances.
Ted Owen is auctioning the tapes with bids being accepted from 29th November 29, 2016 through January 10, 2017. The estimate final price has been placed at $1.9-$3.8 million.
