Well that was a short-lived affair. Just three years after moving to an apartment in a prime section of Park Slope, Brooklyn, actress Chloë Sevigny has sold her four bedroom apartment and moved on.
Listed through the Corcoran agency, Brooklyn blog Brownstowner reported the apartment was located at 9 Prospect Park West, which means it faces the expansive and much loved Prospect Park. Located within a pre-war co-op, the apartment listed at $2.75 million and sold not long after it became available. Sevigny paid $2.05 million for the apartment in 2013.
Above all else, the important thing is to be able to check out the interior and judge whether Sevingy’s cool fashion aesthetic translates to her interior design choices. And while it’s hard to say what is authentically Sevigny’s versus staging by Corcoran, overall the apartment has a bright and airy feel. And though a lot of the furniture is modern, much like Sevigny, one could describe the sensibility as coolly eclectic.
Where is she headed to next? According to LLNYC, Sevigny had shown interest in an apartment in SoHo back in October.
