While there are more than a few fur slides offerings out there, British born and Canadian-based designer Zizi Donohoe has taken the concept to a new level with a Canadian mink sandal featuring fur not just on the strap but on the shoe’s entire upper.
Playing along with the over-the-top nature of an entirely mink shoe, Donohoe has created a very fabulous campaign that plays up and pokes fun at the over-the-top nature of an entirely mink shoe. Shot by Nadia Lee Cohen, the shoot recalls a downtown ’90s-era take on fashion, glamorous and haute, yes, but always with a joi de vivre wink of the eye.
