Looking gorgeous with a head full of blonde curls, chef and singer Kelis invited in Nowness for a tour of her Los Angeles home, a location she describes as her “happy place,” full of everything she cares about the most: “my kids, my kitchen, my dad’s record collection…”
About her design choices, Kelis admitted, “Minimal is not my thing on any circumstance. Not with anything, not with fashion, food, interiors. Like nothing. More is more.”
Some of the cool items we get a chance to see are photographs of her two children, Knight and Shepherd, her wardrobe, which includes “20 years of fashion,” a chandelier made of brass instruments she made, plus the various pieces she has collected (including a white peacock) as she’s traveled the world.
