Vancouver-based Priory humorously defines itself as “womenswear but we’re not sure,” signaling an intent to remain fluid in its brand concept.
Made up of David Lin, Mei Liu, Eunice Quan and Armin Tehrani, the team came together as friends in 2011, and initially operated a boutique called Board of Trade Co., but recently shuttered it to focus on the label.
Manufactured in Canada from fabrics sourced in North America, its spring 2017 line conveys a fluid sense of ease and comfort with some menswear styling.
Priory is stocked at retailers including United Arrows in Japan and LCD in Los Angeles.
