There’s been a lot of fashion floating across the transom this month with both pre-fall 2017 and menswear presentations, but very few items have popped out or made much noise. It’s not too-too surprising, fall is supposed to the offerings that customers of the label wear in their everyday lies, but still, a little excitement would be nice.
Off White reversed the pre-fall doldrums with a fur coat that combined the allure of the natural-colored furs that have been all the rage as of late (Kim Kardashian was recently spotted in New York in a version) with the brand’s trademark horizontal stripe on one of the coat’s lapels.
It’s a very lux statement piece that doesn’t holler, but still stands out. And make note, she who is the first wearer of a piece like this is never accidental. In the case of this fur, Bella Hadid won the privilege of hosting its all-important coming out party.
