As part of Adeam’s New York Fashion Week fall 2017 runway presentation today (February 10, 2017 ), New York-based designer Jules Kim debuted a Bijules nose clip, a striking piece Kim described as inspired “by my vintage Valentino sunnies.”
Constructed of silver, the piece like much of Kim’s work, is very much in line with her desire to use jewelry to examine and comment on the human body in new ways.
During New York Fashion Week, Bijules’ designs will also be featured on Chromat‘s runway. Additionally, Bijules will debut a bridal accessory collection, which will be debuted in “Last Call,” a visual made in collaboration with Camille Semprez and Tianes Montasser.
The video will be screened at the Bowery Graffitti Wall on February 12th and 13th at 7:00 PM. As part of the event, Kim will also will host a party celebrating the debut of the collection.
How to obtain the nose clip? The piece is an exclusive, custom item that requires an in-person fitting and is reflective of the label’s progression away from wholesale into exclusive, bespoke jewelry. Visit bijulesnyc.com for more info.
