In October of last year, Reebok announced it had signed top model Gigi Hadid as a face of the brand. Now we’re seeing the fruits of that agreement through campaign images promoting the brand’s classic Club C style. The campaign is titled “Diamond,” an appropriate description for the shoes which feature a sparkly heel tab, but also a reflection of Hadid’s top notch status as an social media influencer.
As powerful as she is, it will be interesting to see if Hadid can help improve Reebok’s status as a lifestyle brand for women in the United States. While the brand has seen good success in other regions of the world, it’s had a harder time winning over the U.S. female sneaker wearer. Whatever happens, it won’t be for a lack of trying. In addition to Hadid, the brand last week announced a long term partnership with Teyana Taylor, another very worthy female influencer.
