In a romantic rap song titled “Safe,” Young Thug puts down his thoughts on the future as they relate to both love and money, kicking things off by rapping about being together forever, lyrics no doubt directed to his longtime love, Jerrika Karlae, who posted a video of herself with Thug rapping the forever lyrics not too long after the video went live.
Directed by Garfield Larmond in what appears to be a hospital hallway, Thug also raps, “I spend more money on security than I make just to be safe,” a statement reflective of his commitment to take care of those he loves.
