The rap world went wild after Bronx rapper Remy Ma released “ShETHER” this past weekend, a scathing Nicki Minaj diss track that cut the Queens rapper to pieces. Outside of The Game, Minaj hasn’t received much support in the rap world with her ex, Meek Mill, leading the petty parade through a series of Instagram likes indicating he’s #teamremy.
Minaj’s ex, Safaree, initially appeared to want no parts of the beef, but in a recent interview with TMZ, he indicated he viewed the attack by Remy as one Minaj will have trouble responding to.
When asked if the track could hurt Minaj’s street standing, Safaree agreed she took some hits. “Credibility wise, it’s just a very disrespectful records. It’s probably the most disrespectful record I’ve heard in my life, said Safaree.
As to whether Minaj should even respond, Safaree indicated it would be hard for her to come back because the diss was so thorough. “What can you even say to Remy. There’s really not much,” he said. When asked if he would help Minaj write a response, Safaree laughed and noted he doesn’t like to get caught up in female beef.”
