As runway presentations have become less momentous, items that cause a big stir within the fashion community have become far and few between. Thank goodness for Saint Laurent and head designer Anthony Vaccarello, who came to the rescue with the label’s runway presentation for fall 2017, held during Paris Fashion Week.
While there was plenty to like throughout the decadence-infused offerings, it was the slouchy leather boots that caught everyone’s eye, and one pair embellished with Swarovsky crystals provided the show with a gasp-inducing “it” moment.
