Virgil Abloh Provides A Look At Merch Made For Travis Scott’s New York Tour Stop

April 29, 2017. Leave a Comment

Update: We have an answer to our question about whether this custom merch will be available at Travis Scott’s Terminal 5 concert tonight (April 30, 2017) in New York. And the answer is, yes, it will be, but only at this event. Based on prior merch sold by Virgil Abloh, we are guessing this hoodie will be priced between $60-$75.

Off White designer Virgil Abloh has provided a glimpse of what looks like some tour merchandise he designed for Travis Scott‘s “Bird’s Eye View” tour stop at Terminal 5 in New York.  The image shows the sleeve on a black t-shirt detailed with Off White’s trademark industrial font that reads “Concert merchandise, Virgil Abloh c/o Travis Scott, ‘Birds Eye View Tour,’ 04/30/2017, Terminal 5, New York 02017.” It’s also branded with Champion‘s trademark “c.”

Given that Abloh will be DJ-ing at the event under his stage name, Flat White, it’s quite possibly an item he made for friends and family to commemorate the event.

Other questions we don’t have answers to:
1. If it’s more than just a f&f item, is it a Champion collaboration or is Abloh just using a Champion blank?
2. Will the shirt be sold at the Terminal 5 event?

At the moment, Scott’s store is empty, though he is selling t-shirts and other merch at his events, just not the ones Abloh showed.

On the original image (see it below), Abloh labeled it “alot,” which we presume is a reference to the multitude of brands captured in the shot: Nike, Goyard, Off White, Vans and Champion.

While we’re on the topic of concerts, it appears Abloh also made some long-sleeve t-shirts for John Mayer and Dave Chappelle’s “Controlled Damage” appearance at The Fillmore in San Fracisco on April 28 and 29, 2017.

Check out the Mayer and Chappelle shirt as well as the one designed for Scott below.
