Model Bella Hadid continues to carve out an edgier lane in the industry, a clear contrast from her California blonde, older sister, Gigi. Berlin-based, bi-annual fashion magazine 032c maximized Hadid’s brunette good looks with a smoking hot, black and white cover and editorial shot by Collier Schorr.
The shoot is described as one in which Hadid is transformed into Lisa Lyon, a pioneering female bodybuilder who was shot by Helmut Newton and Robert Mapplethorpe.
Hadid is featured on the cover of issue No. 32, titled “Us versus THEM.” There are two alternate covers, one featuring model Larissa Hofmann shot by Jackie Nickerson and model Mica Arganaraz photographed by Catherine Opie.
Adding on a fun bonus, the issue contains an heat-activated applique of the Hadid cover that can be applied to a t-shirt.
