U.K. rapper Little Simz has released a new single titled “Backseat,” a song she describes as an update, whose lyrics are an autobiographical take on her progress in the world thus far.
The single’s title is complimented by an McKay Felt illustration, which artist Abel Gray used to create an short animated clip.
Simz is doing quite a bit of touring this summer with stops in the United Kingdom, Japan and Denmark. She also will be appearing at Brooklyn’s Afropunk, which starts August 26, 2017.
