As you may recall, late last year, model Bella Hadid signed on to Nike as an official spokesperson for the brand. Today Nike rolled out its first big campaign featuring Hadid, a celebration of the Cortez, a classic running silhouette that’s celebrating its 45th anniversary.
In an interview with Complex, Hadid described herself as a newly-formed sneakerhead. “I’ve always loved sneakers and I’ve always been rocking my Air Force 1s since high school, but never really had the full obsession, and recently since I started working with Nike, I just like, ever shoe I’ve ever wanted, I can finally get now.” Hadid conceded that among her friends, Kendall Jenner has the best sneaker collection.
