Alexander Wang has released a lookbook for pre-fall 2017, a sharp collection that highlights what the label has always done best, interpreting street-inspired trends (like Vans-rooted checkerboards) through a downtown New York lens. Ultimately, the line is a shout out at its ultimately muse, a confident and cool New York girl with model good looks.
FYI: The label as of late is using a buy-now schedule to show its lookbooks, meaning they’re arriving just prior to when they hit retail. At the same time, Alexander Wang has continued to show its runway collection six months in advance, though on that note, the lookbook includes some items from fall runway that was shown in February 2017.
