Detroit rapper Def Loaf spreads her wings with the release of “No Fear,” an upbeat pop-tinged single on which she mixes up singing and rapping. Columbia Records-signed Dej has said she’s working on an album, titled Liberty, but hasn’t provided any specific dates for its release.
Prior to the release of the single, she released a series of artful videos, featuring animated images of herself backed by clips from separate interviews with Grace Jones, Nina Simone and David Bowie.
