Update: The Carter babies were born June, 13th at 5:31 a.m, making their sun and moon sign Aquarius and their rising sign Gemini. Rumi was born first. In a case of keeping it all in the wealthy celebrity family, they were delivered by Dr. Paul Crane, who delivered all of Kris Jenner’s children and grandchildren.

Beyoncé has posted the first official images of her and Jay Z‘s twin babies. As rumored, the boy and girl are named Sir and Rumi Carter. In the caption, Bey wrote that the twins were born one month ago today. Based on the timing of the post, that puts their official birthday at June 13, 2017, making them double twins as they were born under the sign of Gemini. As it happens they were also born on a day (13) that in numerology equals four, which has always been a number of significance for the couple.
If the June 13th date is accurate, the babies share their birth date with fellow tiwns Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen. If it turns out the date is actually the 14th, then they share their birthday with Donald Trump, Che Guevera and Boy George.
Rumor has it the babies were born via a planned c-section and spent an extra week at the hospital to take care of some minor health complications. And while there is often the assumption that twins born to wealthy celebs are the result of in-vitro fertilization, in his recently-released single “4:44,” Jay-Z implied the pregnancy didn’t involve medical intervention with the lyrics, “Took for these natural twins to believe in miracles.”
The official image recalls her flower-filled pregnancy photoshoot and includes a glimpse of the Pacific Ocean, making it likely the image was shot on the $400,000 month Malibu property the couple currently are renting through the summer. Known as La Villa Contenta, the property features 6.3 acres, a rose garden, a tennis court, a pool house and a viewing deck.
The twins join their older sister Blue Ivy, who was born on January 7, 2012.
