Bronx-born rapper Alaya Lee aka “Laced Laya,” has dropped the Tyler Dmv-directed video for her single “Shots.” Shot in a New York train station, the visual reveal the essence of what it’s like to be a young women in the City.
In the track, Lee emphasizes her independence and reference her Caribbean roots when she spits, “Attitude Puerto Rico, young island ting, I got green sofrito.”
In March, Lee dropped a video titled “90’s “Babe Compilation” featuring music from her”Goddess Get Down” mixtape, on which she rapped over classics like Puff Daddy’s “It’s All About The Benjamins,” Junior M.A.F.I.A.’s “Get Money,” and Mobb Deep’s “Shook Ones.”
