Brooklyn rapper Leikeli47 has released her first new music in 2017, a single titled “Miss Me.” Referencing the wack job individual who currently occupies the White House, the single samples The Honey Drippers’ 1970 single “Impeach The President,” which was directed at Richard Nixon. (One can only hope Donald Trump’s presidency is similarly cut short!)
The single comes in advance of Leikeli47 appearing at Afropunk Festival, August 26th and 27th in Brooklyn and in September at Bumbershoot Festival in Seattle.
