As part of its 20th anniversary, Nike has been all over the Air Max 97 silhouette this year, recently announcing plans for multiple colorway launches for the the second half of the year.
Earlier this year, it release the Air Max 97 “Silver Bullet,” the shoe’s original and most coveted colorway. Now Nike is bringing back an updated version of the shoe called Air Max 97 Ultra ’17, a shoe that features an updated, lighter weight material story. The Air Max branded on the heel has also been updted and the 3M reflective tape the shoe is known for is now taped on the show rather than embroidered.
Among the colorways Nike showed last week, several also included the Ultra ’17 upgrade and you can check those out here.
The “Silver Bullet” is sized for women and priced at $170. It will drop on August 5, 2017, via Nike’s SNKRS, app, followed by a global release on August 17th.
