Spanish DJ and model Sita Abellan, known for her street-informed style, has linked with Freak City L.A. on a collection that includes bikinis, t-shirts and crop tops. Making use of deadstock fabrics, one bikini is offered in red faux snakeskin with chain straps and the other is a bright green camo that comes with a coordinated long-sleeve crop top.
“I’ve been following Freak City for a few years,” explained Abellan to the Los Angeles Times. “I went to [Los Angeles] for the first time to shoot Rihanna’s video and I pass by this store and we met. They are super creative people, so I was, like, ‘Let’s do something together.’”
Inspired by Lil’ Kim, the collection was debuted at Made LA fashion event in June and was rolled out with Abellan’s own line of merchandise. Both the collaborative capsule and Abellan’s line are available are her newly launched site, sitaabellan.com.
