A new colorway of Adidas and Kanye West‘s Yeezy Boost 700 Wave Runner has emerged. Featuring a grey, black and tan leather and mesh upper, it’s most distinguishing color characteristic is the bright green heel tab.
The shoe is described by @yeezymafia as a sample so it’s not clear when this shoe will hit retail, if ever.
The Yeezy Boost 700 was first revealed on Kanye West’s Yeezy Season 5 runway and is part of the chunky sneaker wave that includes the Adidas by Raf Simons Osweego and Balenciaga’s Triple S sneaker. It’s also ushered Fila‘s Disruptor sneaker back into popularity.
As of now, the reception to the look in sneaker world is very mixed. It’s a lot of sneaker, literally, and not everyone feel comfortable making such a big statement.
Priced at $300. West released the first Boost 700 on August 12, 2017 with a surprise drop on his site yeezysupply.com.
