After a tremendous week one drop, Supreme chose to reel things back for week two, which doesn’t include nearly the depth of the debut offerings. Perhaps the brand is saving up some energy for the opening of its Brooklyn location, which is supposed to happen sometime in September 2017.
It’s very clear from social media comments that the item people are most excited about are the appropriation (joking) chopsticks ($24), followed by the sake carafe and cups ($48) aka dream-come-true items for anyone who loves sushi, which is basically everyone.
In terms of actual clothing, the reversible digi-camo MA-1 bombers ($348) are quite nice though the contrast stitch, half zip pullovers with front pockets ($168) are even nicer.
Week two also includes a collaborative Dr. Martens collection made special through an embroidered sacred hearts embellishment. Nothing really special about those unless you like Dr. Martens anyway and want a pair that makes a bigger statement.
No pricing yet. We will update when that information goes live. Pricing below.
The online drop will occur on August 31. 2017 at 11:00 BST for the European site and 11:00 EST for the U.S. site. Physical stores in New York, Los Angeles, London and Paris open at 11:00 local time. The collection goes live in Japan on September 2nd.
