Best Of Supreme Week 1 Fall 2017: Life Is All About Choices And The Decisions We Make

Supreme released its fall 2017 lookbook last week and @dropsbyjay has followed with the list of items included in the first week’s drop, along with a very helpful pricing guide.

Week No. 1 is filled to the brim with amazing items so for anyone who doesn’t have Sean Combs as a father, choices and decisions must be made about what to buy. Then, too, even if you do have an unlimited budget because Supreme sells out so quickly, attempt to purchase more than one item and you risk copping nothing at all.

As for what the hottest items are, the unquestionable star of the collection is the Nas bogo t-shirt ($44) offered in seven colors (white, black, heather grey, baby blue, red, brown and lime). Keep in mind this is a highly coveted item and the chances of you being able to outmaneuver the bots and Supreme buying geeks is very small so either plan to pay a premium on resell sites like grailed.com or focus on another item.

If a t-shirt is your thing, week one includes multiple worthy options, including double helix ($34), kiss ($34), fuck love ($34), sad dollar bill ($34) and Gonz head Supream ($44).

In terms of items receiving frequent mentions on social media, for some reason a lot of guys have fallen in love with the SOG plastic collapsible shovel ($38), an item that’s been described as “the shovel I never knew I had to have.”

Other items that are on our list of best items for women for fall 2017 are the color block hoodie ($188) and coordinated joggers ($168).

That said our favorite item is the Rifkin Safety sac ($58), mainly because it would make for a very dope clutch.

There are also a bunch of hats being released and we love the bouquet centerpiece beanie ($32) and the reflective loose gauge beanies ($32).

In terms of lower-priced purchases, you can wear your love of bdsm on your sleeve with the handcuff keychain ($18) and the timing couldn’t be more right for the “fuck the president” keychain ($18).

Week one offerings will releas at Supreme’s brick and mortar stores in New York, Los Angeles, London and Paris on August 17, 2017. The online drop will occur on August 24th at 11:00 BST for the European site and 11:00 EST for the U.S. site.

If you’re brand new to shopping Supreme online, Reddit has a great beginners guide here.

Givenchy reative director Matthew M. Williams will Givenchy reative director Matthew M. Williams will step down from the role following a three-year stint with the LVMH-owned label. Williams will present his final collection with a men's and women's pre-fall 2024 collection, to be unveiled in the coming days.

Leading the creative direction of Givenchy was, as I said upon my arrival in 2020, the dream of a lifetime,” Williams said in the statement. “Over these three years, I have strived to perpetuate Mr. Hubert de Givenchy’s legacy while bringing my own creative vision and I would like to sincerely thank the studio, Renaud de Lesquen and LVMH for this incredible opportunity.”

While Williams was credited with the buzzworthy Shark boot and Voyou handbag, he was often derided by the online fashion community for falling short of achieiving the same level of buzz and cool when the label was under Riccardo Tisci's creative direction from 2005 to 2017.

Williams will continue to head creative direction for his own label, 1017 Alyx 9SM, which recently announced plans to ramp up production and expand door count through a parntership with Adrian Cheng, a Hong Kong entrepreneur.
