All The Items Beyoncé Wore In Addition To The Fila T-Shirt

August 9, 2017. Leave a Comment

Beyoncé was spotted with her daughter, Blue Ivy, plus friends Kelly Rowland and Angie Beyince at a Kendrick Lamar‘s “Damn Tour” stop in Los Angeles earlier this week (August 6, 2017), and today the singer followed up with a post detailing her look at the event.

The outfit was highlighted by a gold Fila t-shirt, a placement that had the brand trending on Twitter this evening (August 9th).

In addition to the vintage Fila ‘Yellow F” crop top via Coal N Terry ($60), she wore a Mistress Rocks “Jump Up” camo jacket ($114) and Coal N Terry “Obinrin” side-lace up shorts ($98), carried a vintage Louis Vuitton Speedy 30 bag, customized by Mediumrare (no price, check brand’s Instagram on how to purchase) and sky-high, lace-up boots by one of her long-time faves, DSquared2 ($1,160). Her earrings were also DSquared2.

Bey was styled by the bi-coastal Zerina Akers, who also put together her baby reveal image.

A short aside: Bey was also spotted at World on Wheels roller rink in Venice Beach, California, this week (August 4th), skating among the people.

One can’t help but wonder if post-twins, she’s wishing to live a more public and care free life in which she mixes it up a bit more with the people. Granted it’s not an easy endeavor for an international superstar who’s as insanely popular as she is, but clearly it can be done as we’ve seen over the past week.

Can Beyoncé live? If that is her wish, we hope she’s able to.

Kid Cudi performed on SNL last night in an Off-Whi Kid Cudi performed on SNL last night in an Off-White floral dress paired with a Ben Baller chain inspired by Takashi Murakami.

For his second appearance, Cudi was clad in a green mohair sweater, Chris Farley t-shirt with Nike x Cactus Plant Flea Market Dunk sneakers.

In addition to a send up to former SNL cast member Farley, who died of an overdose at age 33, both looks worn by Cudi are thought to be a tribute to Kurt Cobain who once performed in a floral dress.

Cobain, who committed suicide at age 27, wore a mohair sweater and jeans during his MTV Unplugged performance in 1993.

Cobain's MTV sweater was auctioned for $334k in 2019.

Interesting! FOG designer Jerry Lorenzo tells Kerw Interesting! FOG designer Jerry Lorenzo tells Kerwin Frost that he doesn't have aspirations to become the creative director of a major fashion house because he wants to stay focused on building his own brand.

In the second clip, he references a Jay-Z line when he notes that Virgil Abloh taking on the role at LV has enabled Lorenzo and others not to. "Like I told you sell drugs; no, Hov did that so hopefully you don't have to go through that."

The whole exchange brings up the question, are we entering into a post legacy luxury label world?
