Philly-born singer Jazmine Sullivan and Bryson Tiller have released “Insecure,” a single debuted on the episode three of “Insecure.” A slow r&b jam, the song’s lyrics speak to the emotions that arise within a relationship that lacks trust.
In the song, Sullivan sings, “Why you gotta be so insecure? When I did all I could do, but you be wanting more. And why you can’t you get above my back? And I can take a lot of shit, but I won’t take that.”
Music plays a major role in setting the mood in “Insecure,” and each episode is accompanied by a Spotify soundtrack. In addition to Sullivan and Tiller’s song, the latest episode’s soundtrack included Jacquees, Jidenna, and Rico Nasty, among others.
