Kappa continues on the collaborative trail, with its Japanese-based division announcing a multi-partner global effort with Kuraishi Kazuki -led art collective A.Four Labs and Copenhagen record label Posh Isolation.
Initially, the project involved just Kappa and A.Four Labs, until a conversation between Kazuki and a friend of his on the Posh Isolation team triggered the idea of bringing in ideas from the label.
The 11-piece collection is underpinned by an upside-down version of Kappa’s logo, along with references to A.Four Labs, and Posh Isolation logos. It sounds like a lot, but it the results in the end are quite minimalist and cool.
The collection will launch on Kappa’s Japanese kappa.ne.jp on August 5, 2017.
