NikeID Taps International Girl Grew For Trio Of City-Themed Cortez Sneakers

Continuing to highlight its Cortez Clasic sneaker, Nike has tapped International Girl Crew, a global collective of women, for a trio of NikeID Cortez color palettes reflective of the member’s passion for their own communities as well as travel.

The Nike and IGC shoe will be offered in three color palette options speaking to the cities of London, New York and Los Angeles.

Commenting on International Girl Crew, founding member and WAH Nails CEO Sharmadean Reid said, “IGC is about fashion, style and having fun times with my mates all around the world, from Greece to Jamaica, Paris and of course, our three home cities of London, New York and Los Angeles.”

Additional members included model Paloma Elsesser, nail artist Madeline Poole, writer Phoebe Lovatt, stylist Camille Garmendia and filmmaker Grace LaDoja.

The NikeID Cortez Classic by International Girl Crew will be available globally on August 16, 2017 on nike.com/nikeid.
