The moment we’ve all been waiting for, Rihanna has revealed her Crop Over outfit, worn as part of an annual Barbados festival celebrating harvest season.
Themed on corals and greens (so that’s what the hair change color was for), her two-piece outfit is embellished with gorgeous, iridescent pink crystals, which were also used to create coordinated shoulder and wrist pieces. She also wears a crystal headpiece and necklace. The entire outfit is set against a lush coral and green feather back piece. All told, quite amazing!
As for who designed the look, it was created by Lauren Austin for Aura, who also designed her 2013 and 2015 looks, according to according to @hausrihanna, a Barbados-based fan account run by Sheena, who notes, “Bajans don’t twerk. We wuk up.”
Rihanna is on the trip with her besties Melisa Forde, Jenn Rosales, Noella Alstrom and Sonita Alexander.
