Chanel has rolled out a campaign for its new Gabrielle fragance, an ad fronted by four-year brand ambassador Kristen Stewart.
Chanel describes the fragrance as based on four flowers: orange blossom, ylang-ylang, jasmine and Grasse tuberose. The fragrance is said to be a celebration of Coco Chanel’s life before she started the label and references her birth name, Gabrielle Bonheur Chanel.
The visual features the song “Runnin’ (Lose It All)” by U.K. DJ/songwriter/singer Naughty Boy aka Shahid Khan featuring Beyoncé and Arrow Benjamin.
While Bey’s vocals in the visual add some energy to the campaign, her most dedicated fans are a little less excited, simply because they know the single was released pre-Lemonade in August 2015.
