Puma And Rihanna’s High Heel Flip Flops Are Causing A Ruckus

September 12, 2017. 9 Comments

Puma and Rihanna’s spring 2018 runway presentation as always included complete head-to-toe looks, though it’s always been the footwear that’s turned the most heads. Not interested in simply updating Puma’s in-line sandal and sneaker silhouettes with new colors and materials, Rihanna has made a name for herself by pushing the envelope on design, a risk that paid off with high demand and accolades in the case of her creeper sneaker.

For her latest runway, the shoe that has people buzzing is her high heel flip flop. Featuring a four inch rectangular heel, the shoe is marked by a sporty ankle strap and a three point rubber flip-flop upper. Like a lot of her designs, the combo of dress and casual is causing some controversy on social media.

If these sandals are produced, they should hit retail sometime in spring of 2018, which translates to anytime from February onward.

Check out the shoes below (and shout out to the model whose feet clearly have been taking a beating!)
