Model Bella Hadid was tapped for Complex‘s celebrity sneaker shopping series, hosted by Joe La Puma. The duo visited Kith‘s New York store where Hadid discussed being signed by Nike to promote its Cortez silhouette.
For the visit, Hadid wore a pair of “The Ten” Jordan Retro 1 sneakers designed in collaboration with Virgil Abloh, who gifted Hadid a personalized pair. Known to be friendly with Abloh, Hadid paired the shoes with an Off-White extra long web belt.
Hadid was asked about how she feels about men wearing dirty sneakers, thoughts on Nike’s retro basketball sneakers and whether she was into Vans growing up. La Puma also asked if there was sneaker rivalry between her and her sister, Gigi Hadid, who is an ambassador for Reebok.
In the end, Hadid picked up two pairs of Jordan Retro 13, Jordan Retro 5, Nike Uptempo, Nike Air Max 95, Filling Pieces and RF (Ronnie Fieg) sandals, Chuck Taylor high tops and Vans UA Old Skool platform sneakers.
