Paris luxury label Louis Vuitton closed out Paris Fashion Week, showing its spring 2018 womenswear collection in the city’s famed Louvre Museum. While the location may have been as fancy pants as they come, Nicolas Ghesquière‘s offerings were laid back and fun, not unlike the wardrobe of a chic superheroine.
While the silky gym shorts and ruffled pants were adorable, the items that really popped were the “Stranger Things” tribute t-shirt and as per usual the logo bags (the non-logo bags were kind of boring tbh).
The jury is still out on the sneakers. Yes, they’re flashy and fun and even touch on the chunky sneaker trend, though in that respect they come across as only halfway committed. In that respect, they make sense for someone who wants a luxury sneaker but views Balenciaga’s Triple S as too over the top.
