Nike is doing a lot with Air Max, in particular the wavy Air Max 97, a shoe that has found favor as of late with Nike stalwart fans as well as come-and-go fashion types.
This week Nike introduced a hybrid version of the shoe, placing the Air Max 97 upper on an Air Max Plus sole unit, called Air Max Plus 97 aka 97 Tune Up.
The practice of fusing uppers and sole from different silhouettes is hardly new and you can expect to see the Air Max 97 upper fused with additional bottoms, including VaporMax some time in 2018.
Debuting in black upper and white outsole colorway, this shoe is priced at $160 and will hit retail on November 21, 2017 at 10:00 AM EST.
