As part of their NBA-themed collaborative effort, NikeLab and Riccardo Tisci created an imaginary team called the Victorious Minotaurs, whose team logo is emblazoned on the clothing line’s jerseys.
While the team may not be real, Tisci tapped a group of stand-in members, who were shot for a W editorial. Team members include step dancer Blessin Giraldo, Detroit rapper DeJ Loaf, artist Hugo McCloud, models Youssouf Bamba, Duckie Thot and Halima Aden, NBA point guard D’Angelo Russell and WNBA point guard Kelsey Plum and community organizers Steph Turner and Khalid Vaughn.
