Vogue kicked off it debut Forces of Fashion conference on October 12, 2017 at Milk Studios in New York, a one-day event highlighting power players and visionaries in fashion. Priced at $3,000 per ticket ($300 for students), guest speakers included Virgil Abloh, Stella McCartney, John Galliano among others.
One of the more noteworthy exchanges was with Rihanna, who was interviewed by Vogue editor-at-large Hamish Bowles.
In the 20-minute exchange, Rihanna, who wore a head-to-toe look by Tom Ford, confirmed the spring 2018 Fenty by Puma collection she showed in New York marked her final collaborative collection with Puma.
Commenting on her choice to stage the final runway in New York, she explained, “New York is where the story of Fenty Puma began and for my final collection with them it was not even something to think twice about.”
Rihanna also hinted at future fashion projects, spoke about her love and respect of fashion, as well as the value of having a powerful team.
