Best Of Supreme Week 14 Fall 2017: The Shoulder Bags Are The Move

Supreme‘s post-Thanksgiving week 14 drop isn’t the most female friendly. Case in point the skeletal Vanson leather jackets and Playboy jacket that all but the most macho would eschew. The drop also includes a Timberland collaboration, which is hardly warm and fuzzy.

We saw quite a few women at ComplexCon in November sporting the nylon Supreme shoulder bags ($48) and they make a nice addition to one’s bag wardrobe. There are also waistbags ($88) that are cute. Both of these items are restocks, which makes them less appealing for resellers.

If you’re looking for a top, the striped ring neck, long-sleeve t-shirt ($88) with a tone-on-tone embossed Supreme logo is pretty fun and it comes in five colors.

Flying in the face of what we said about the Playboy sweaters, the bunny logo beanie ($38) actually work in the form of a hat.

The online drop will occur on November 24, 2017 at 11:00 GMT for the European site and 11:00 EST for the U.S. site. Physical stores in New York, Los Angeles, London and Paris open at 11:00 local time. The collection goes live in Japan on November 25th.

Burton's tenure as creative director for Alexander McQueen has  been remarkable, spanning an impressive 26 years. Her ability to maintain the brand's distinctive blend of beauty and edge is noteworthy.

Burton became creative director in  2010 after the tragic loss of Lee Alexander McQueen. As the only female creative director in Kering's fashion portfolio, her contributions have been significant, and her departure, in our opinion leaves a big gap in a house with a very deep and unique brand dna.
