One of the big bummers of Nike’s recent spate of buzz-filled launches is that almost none of the silhouettes have been offered in women’s or even grade-school sizing. Among Nike x Off-White’s “The Ten” sneakers, there was just “The One” Vapormax sized for women.
Nike is now in the midst of dropping a series of “AF-100” Air Force sneakers made in collaboration with Virgil Abloh, Roc-a-Fella, Travis Scott, Acronym and Chicago designer and RSVP Gallery owner Don “Just Don” Crawley, whose shoe is next in the queue with a drop date of December 1, 2017.
On the brand’s Instagram account today, Just Don let it be known his white Air Force 1 Hi will be offered in women’s sizing, a fact illustrated by Crawley’s wife, Kristen Noel Crawley, who’s posted up in the shoe on her Instagram account.
Priced at $200, the Nike x Just Don Air Force 1 will be sold on NikePlus, Nike’s SNKRS app and select Nike boutique accounts as well as a limited number of Footaction stores. For Chicago residents, the shoes will be sold at an RSVP AF-100 pop-up gallery at 1714 N Damen Avenue. Doors open to the public on December 1st at 1:00 PM, first come, first serve.
