Stuart Weitzman And Gigi Hadid Channel Evil Eye Protection For Mule Collabo

Stuart Weitzman and Gigi Hadid Launch a Second Shoe Collaboration (PRNewsfoto/Stuart Weitzman)

Stuart Weitzman and Gigi Hadid have linked for a second capsule of shoes, this time tapping into the red hot slip-on mule silhouette popularized by Gucci.

Hadid did a good job of putting her own stamp on the Gigi mule, adding an evil eye graphic to two different styles called eyelove and eyelovemore.

“My Dad’s Palestinian, so it’s something I grew up seeing,” she told Teen Vogue about the inspiration behind the graphic. “It’s about just being protective against negative energy, [a way] to remind yourself to not let bad energy affect you.”

In connection with the collaboration, Stuart Weitzman and Hadid have made a commitment to donate $105,000 to construct three schools in Ghana, Guatemala and Laos through Pencils of Promise, an educational charity Stuart Weitzman has an ongoing relationship with.

Priced at $498 for the eyelove and $598 for the eyelovemore, the shoes are packaged in a Hadid-branded box with a matching dust bag. The shoes are now available for purchase at Stuart Weitzman retail locations and stuartweitzman.com, along with Moda Operandi and Lane Crawford.

The campaign includes a video titled “The Season for Loving” directed by Cameron Duddy. Check it out below.
