South Sudanese British model Alek Wek lands her very first solo Vogue cover as shot by Alexander Saladrigas for Vogue Ukraine.
The January 2018 issue includes two covers, including a striking image on the beach in which she wears a yellow Ienki Ienki puffer and turquoise version of Balenciaga‘s much-photographed boot leggings.
Shot in Venice Beach, California in November 2017 with the inclusion of some local skaters, the shoot was styled by Julie Pelipas, who has some additional outtake photos on her Instagram page (below).
