SZA Performs ‘Love Galore’ And ‘The Weekend’ Backed By Harlem’s Gospel For Teens Choir

December 10, 2017. 2 Comments

SZA appeared on Saturday Night Live last night (December 9, 2017) and performed twice, first performing “The Weekend” followed by “Love Galore,” which included an additional verse not included on the album single.

For both performances, SZA was backed by Harlem’s talented Vy Higginsen’s Gospel for Teens choir.

Styled by Dianne Gordon, she rehearsed in a spring 2018 Thom Browne cardigan paired with high-waisted and cuffed dark denim jeans and black platform boots, also by Thom Browne.

For her performance of “The Weekend,” SZA wore an emerald green dress with a feather-detail slit from Italian label Vivetta’s spring 2018 collection with upcoming Converse x J.W. Anderson sneakers and accessories by Lynn Ban and Them Jewelers.

Her second look was a striking gold dress from Mikhaele Kale’s spring 2018 collection that repurposed a sweatshirt such that the bottom band formed a side slit. Her platform boots were Vetements and her accessories were Lynn Ban and Them Jewelers.

For the after party, SZA was spotted in a orange camo BAPE parker.
