FX series “Atlanta” starring Donald Glover (who also writes and produces) is finally back after taking all of 2017 off.
The program has released a trailer titled “Spotlight” featuring Sonder’s single “Too Fast” that literally shines a light on the series main characters as shot against various backdrops.
Intriguingly, the character Paper Boi in one scene is shown being pulled back by his chain by an unseen force, setting up the likelihood that someone is going to be robbed. And indeed, the preview’s description reads: “It’s robbin’ season.”
There’s also a second clip showing Glover literally flipping from scene to scene to scene.
The cast include Glover as Earnest “Earn” Marks, Bryan Tyree Henry playing Alfred Miles aka Paper Boi, Zazie Beetz as Vanessa “Van” Keefer, and everyone’s favorite, Lakeith Stanfield as Darius.
The program release on March 1, 2017 at 10:00 PM EST.
