New York-based accessory designer Andrea Bergart has gained fame for her made-to-order, youth basketball shaped handbags, a super cute and clever endeavor that landed her on Nike‘s radar.
As part of the brand’s 10 shoe “1 Reimagined” launch, Nike tapped Bergart to translate the concept to a clip-on coin purse, sold as an add-on gift exclusively at Foot Locker’s House of Hoops store in Harlem. Customers can also have their clutch customized at the store.
Here’s the catch, the coin purse are available only with a “1 Reimagined” shoe purchase at the House of Hoop stores February 9-10, 2018 and only in limited numbers. In other words, if they sell out, they sell out.
Naturally, Bergart’s followers are clamoring for her to add them to her online shop, though at the moment she’s not saying she will or she won’t. If you want to keep an eye on her store, it’s located at andreabergart.com.
