Fendi Taps Graphic Artist Reilly To Create Bootleg Fila Logo Tops

Fendi made a big statement (some thought too big) with logos with on its men’s runway in mid-January, and the luxury label kept the same energy for it’s women’s fall 2018 show with the label’s signature, all-over “f” logo shown prominently on multiple clothing and accessory items.

In addition to logos, the label also brought back Scottish-born, London-based graphic artist Reilly, whose graphics were used as part of the men’s fall 2018 collection. For the women’s line, Reilly created a Fendi logo top inspired by a bootleg version of the Fila logo. The classic logo was featured on two different sweatshirt silhouette though rather than making use of cotton as is typical, Fendi made an elevated statement with shaved mink fur, offered in either black or white.

Commenting on the partnership, Reilly wrote on Instagram, “I’m beyond flattered, I’m stunned, I’m utterly delighted, I’m… I’m … just so happy that some of my work that was made in the spirit of fun for lols likes and sharing should end up in the real world being seen by Karl Lagerfeld let alone made part of the Fendi collection.”

A graduate of Royal College of Art, Reilly is known for commenting on consumer culture in particular how perception of athletic, streetwear and luxury brands are influenced by logos. In addition to Fendi, Reilly has created illustrations for Gucci, Lamborghini, Microsoft, Nike, LVMH, Ray-Ban, Coca Cola and Jimmy Choo, among others.

Models who walked the Fendi runway included Adwoa Aboah, Binx Walton, Kaia Gerber plus sisters Bella and Gigi Hadid. Front row guests included Sita Abellan,Tommy Dorfman, Chloe Grace Moretz and Jamie Campbell Bower.

Puma and New York-based fashion brand LaQuan Smith Puma and New York-based fashion brand LaQuan Smith are back with their second collaboration, this time inspired by the glitz and grit of the boxing ring. 

The campaign stars Ming Lee Simmons, dressed in satin-finished boxing shorts, cropped jackets, and tear-away pants with luxe details.

The capsule also includes two Speedcat silhouettes, including the Speedcat Mid, a high-ankle boxing sneaker. 

Priced between $80-$100, the Puma x LaQuan Smith collection launches on March 15 on puma.com, the Puma NYC and Las Vegas flagship stores, and select retailers including Foot Locker and Shoe Palace.

The statement earrings are now on display at Greg Yüna's Soho boutique and  now available on gregyuna.com.

For fall winter 2025 KNWLS opted to forego a runwa For fall winter 2025 KNWLS opted to forego a runway show and present their collection in a styled lookbook.

Taking inspiration from a feminine Y2K aesthetic, the collection embodies designers Charlotte Knowles and Alexandre Arsenault’s ability to balance sexy and cool. 

In an interview with Vogue, the pair shared that they are currently working on a new design director role in Europe and have several other projects in the pipeline, including another denim project, a collaboration with a jewelry brand, and a menswear capsule for an e-commerce site.

Commenting on the lookbook styling, they shared, "Obviously in the lookbooks it's styled in a quite extreme way, but if you break it down into individual pieces, we've been thinking about merchandising and the customer more than ever before," said Arsenault. "We've seen the team in the studio wearing the pieces differently too, and we've taken that into account. It's a nice challenge to say: 'Okay, we want to make a sweatshirt, but it still has this silhouette or wash or rib detail that makes it feel really Knwls."
